I have known Grant for over fifteen years firstly as a work colleague and most importantly a true friend. My role as an Academy Manager at Middlesbrough Football Club was to provide an environment for elite player development. A multi-disciplinary approach was essential to any success we may have achieved and to this end, as Head of the Club’s Medical and Sports Science Department Grant , through his excellent leadership and management skills, provided me with well informed and skilled support in terms of physical, psychological and social expertise.
